Python Job: Junior Data Analyst

CoinFantasy is looking for an experienced Data analyst to join the team who will be responsible for managing our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Product/Marketing teams and understand their priorities/roadmap
• Identify appropriate metrics that will drive the right decisions for the business, and then build reporting solutions to deliver these metrics at the required frequency in an optimal and reliable fashion
• Deconstruct a business problem into multiple logical steps to generate an overall robust analytical solution
• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
• Conducting quick analysis on relevant data, identify trends & correlations and form hypotheses to explain the observations
• Take complete ownership of reporting areas and work on Optimization & Automation
• Create and maintain rich interactive visualisations through data visualisation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources
• Build statistical models, logic towards making better business decisions
• Experiment with new data models and techniques
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly reports and present to Senior Stakeholders the overall status, analysis & outcome to enable data driven decision making

What we expect

• Advanced degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or similar
• Hands-on experience in analytics / data science preferable
• Experience with data preparation, visualisation, and processing from a diverse set of data sources
• Experience in data visualisation tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik
• Advanced Excel knowledge, shortcuts, lookups, pivot table, macros,etc
• Strong SQL or PL/SQL and Python programming skills
• Intermediate knowledge of statistical methods and predictive/analytical modelling techniques and practices
• Strong knowledge of data engineering principles and best practices
• Experience in performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting technical issues
• High-level written and verbal communication skills
